Hi, I’m DeAnna! I'm an HR expert, leadership coach, and founder of The AI Job Search Coach. I’ve been in your shoes more times than I'd like to admit. I know what it’s like to face layoffs, feel invisible in the job market, and wonder how you’re going to start over. And after helping thousands of professionals navigate tough transitions throughout my career, I created this space to give you tools, truth, and support powered by AI, backed by experience, and built with heart.

Why I Started This

After more than 20 years in HR, Employee Relations, and Leadership Development, I was laid off. Again. This was the fourth time in my career.  But this time was different. This time, I was not fresh out of college and well into my career.  This time the job market was ugly.  This time, it took me 16 months and over 3,000 job applications to find a decent opportunity to get me back into the workforce. ​ Between 2023–2024, I got ghosted and scammed more times than I can count. I realized the traditional job search system was broken, and job seekers deserved a better way. That’s when I discovered how AI tools like ChatGPT could empower job seekers instead of replacing them. So I made it my mission to combine smart tech + human strategy to help others bounce back.
