I’ve realized I could add a set of special skills to my resume that I’ve acquired during these latest months of interviewing…
ability to maintain a straight face during a video call while my lights flicker like I’m at a disco (still not sure what ghost possessed my lights)
Intuit my dogs next moves and consciously block them from interfering during interviews
Looking professional on the top and pjs on the bottom
Troubleshooting technical issues at lightning speeds so I don’t miss the interview. (How didn’t battery drain so fast on my tablet ? Why won’t the video turn on? What’s wrong with my internet?)
What else could you guys add to the skill set? I can’t be the only one encountering odd things during this process. 😁

Keeping a straight face and professional presentation whilst inside your emotions are on a rollercoaster. Maintaining composure whilst suppressing the urge to express your desperation. Make it look like you're not cheating / using AI when you are JUST LOOKING AT MY NOTES I SWEAR. (Seriously, now I have to worry that everytime Im checking my notes on one of my screens I look like I'm cheating?)
